Any regrets or issues running a stage 2 or up saleen sc on our gt's? I had my mind set on either a whipple ho or procharger. Then got a few pm's telling me how hard the prochargers were to tune and how many shops wouldn't sell them. Some issue with a blow through design. I don't know what to do guys. I'm saving up all I can and looking for a possible winter install. Was I right thinking the whipple ho would be the best bet for my 06 gt? I have the auto trans and factory internals. I was expecting to go forged internals if I got a ho kit, but was worried about the torque on the auto trans.
But since I have an auto trans and would be racing off the line, wouldn't a twin screw be my best bet? Even though I would have to feather the gas from spinning too much. Because of how the auto shifts and how the centri's make most of the power above 3k. Daily driven car, just want the power if a vette, porsche, or turbo comes up on me. But of course I don't race on the street.
Any problems at all with the brenspeed tuned saleen kits? Upper power packages like stage 4 either? Also, how does that blower whine with the upgraded boost and smaller pulley. it sounds great in the vids with the hood open and on the dyno, but how about in outdoor real life driving?
Thanks.

i have the saleen stage4 supershaker.I started with the basic kit from saleen and it sucked. So i went to the stage 3 from brenspeed and i loved it. Well worth the money. I love the stage4 shaker and the whine is great. I like the car to be alittle quiet so i have stock exhaust. I drive it everyday. I have 30000 miles on it. ts is fun to have around town. If you are anywhere close to central illinois i could take you for a spin. good luck

I've had my stage 3 for about a year now and love it every time I press the gas pedal. The Stage 3 is just under limit our cars can take so its a very safe package. I knew some people running stage 4 with stock internals ending up blowing a piston through their block. I would go with the saleen or whipple HO, both greatly supported by many tuners. Try to stay under 450rwhp and you will be fine.

We have put countless hours developing in our opinion, one of the best twin screw staged packages available. Several of our employees would still choose the Saleen over any blower on the market because of the power and tq they produce. One of our customers just switched from a centri to the saleen and in his own words, "500 rw (centri) hp before just doesn't compare to the 430 rw (saleen) hp now, its a whole nother animal."
If you have any questions feel free to PM me or give us a call.
Oh and the whining is a perk as well.

Yes we do, Shannon and I had the S/C's installed a couple of years ago and have had ZERO problems with them. The cars are beat on a regular basis on the road and see some track time. Both cars run in the 11's, I stay in contact with Brent and will always use his services. Customer support is still beyond any other I've ever dealt with, the only one that comes close is MGW. Brenspeed is a great company that was built on customer service, the way it should be. By the way Shannon's car is the first silver one in the video and mine is the black one. Keep up the great work Brent!
Shannon and Phil, thought you might like the lime light! Both beautiful cars, the third car is our test mule.

Yeah, we never get tired of the video, the cars have been a blast to drive. Shannon and I are going to have to come up and see the new facility. There is nothing more satisfying than having a car that makes the heart beat faster and a sphincter factor of 10.
Brenspeed, always the best. Glad I went with your 92 tune for my gt.
I love the sound of the whine too, I just thought a centri had more than a twinscrew. I keep hearing a lot of centri vs. TS talk out there. I would like to get this project done this winter time and have everything complete. isn't the Saleen SC a little maxed out in your higher staged packs, where a whipple ho. could produce more power given?
