driver mod...if you cant drive or launch the car, you will have a slower 1/4 mile time.

Seat time is everything. You need good drag tires also.

Where in Florida are you?

Driver skill, transmission gears, transmission type, suspension, tires, track grip, weather conditions. Add those all up and you have a lot of variance.

Agreed! Driver skill is one big factor and traction. All the power in the world is no good without control, LCA's help, relocation brackets help if you're lowered and TIRES!!! Drag radials atleast or an E.T. street

Not all Whipples are boosted the same. With the change of a pulley you can add or subtract horsepower. The FRPP tune will work with pulley sizes from 3.625 to 3.125, that's a 4 psi difference or 64 hp at 16 hp per psi. Some stay conservative while others push it as hard as they can. Even more power can be made with a custom tune.

Then there's the whole drag racing thing. Like most things some are better than others. Racing on a track is new to me. I'm slow but learning. I'm sure a better driver could get my car in the 11's. I will eventually, maybe with some more power. It sure is fun trying to get there though.

As for the Whipple. It's a solid choice.

dyno tune! No one is running low 11's on the whipple tune. Even whipple only went 11.8, but that was the 1st generation blower as well. I'm sure I could get in the 11's with some practice, but I don't really enjoy the track or rather I don't like running next to an 8 second car.
