Alrightyy i have a 06 GT and i've done a little work on the engine but i have alot of learing to do when it comes to cars.
My car has been running good but there is a ticking noise that starts up if i drive my car fast (push around 4000rpm) and maybe if i dont let it warm up.
It's pretty fast and not to loud sometimes sounds like a buzzing noise to some extent. Sounds like it coming from around the throttlebody. My engine seems to be running hot but the thermometer is just at half way. The fuse box is also pretty hott. What could this be??? Thank you.
On my stang i have put a steeda air intake, steeda throttle body spacer, catback magnaflow magnapack, SCT tune, 20' 8.5' Zinik rims, michelin a/s tires, speakers an a 12'sub, halo's and taillights.
If you have any idea please help me out.
Thank you very muchh!!!

To begin with, trash the TB spacer. It's costing you more in gas due to the added weight. TB spacers do NOTHING good except make nice Xmas tree ornaments. Secondly, our S197 4.6L's are noisey to begin with. However, there are at least 2 TSB's out there regarding engine ticking/noise.
