Glad you like the tunes, I know my foot got a little happier on the skinny pedal.

A great mod and well worth the money!! All cars should have this mod. Its should be a must mod for sure!!!

Brenspeed shipped ontime and everything arrived perfectly. Install was simple....anybody can figure it out. Using the sct was simple too. Follow the prompts and your done and burning rubber down the steet!!! Yeah baby!!

I haven't heard of one brenspeed tune that has ever failed inspection. I have been a brenspeed user for over five years now.

Mine did today....

The report came up with these errors:

O2 sensor = Unsupported

O2 sensor heater = Unsupported

Catalytic Converter = Unsupported

Secondary Air = Unsupported

EGR System = Unsupported

Evap. System = Unsupported

When I first took the car in a week ago I stupidly left my Bama Race tune in.. forgetting that it had the O2 sensors "turned off". The Bama tune failed with the same errors.

I then loaded the Brenspeed 93 octane tune a week ago and drove 250 miles.

Took the car in today and got the same errors. Last year, when I asked Brenspeed if they could update the tune for my gears.. I also asked if they could make the tune emissions friendly.

I'm hoping it was just an oversight... or Missouri does inspections differently.. because if it's not the tune.. it's the hardware. The car runs great, though.. so im sure it's the tune.

I'm sorry to hear that but I highly doubt that your car isn't emissions friendly. It's just they know you have change the tune and that draws a flag. Bump it put your stock tune in and then change it back.

I did this at a "mod-freindly" dealer, and they have given me the report both times. Maybe im naive, but im pretty sure all they do is plug a state machine into my car and let it do all of the work.

either way.. I'm definitely going to put the stock air box on and try again next week.

Just change the tune when you get there unless you are a beginner and your not good at that type of thing.

Actually.. only a "beginner" would think that you can change a tune and have it read properly a short time later..

Any new strategy has to cycle before it will pass diagnostics. Plus.. loading my stock tune with my C&L.. well my car wouldn't even run.

That said.. thanks for the input... and i just realized that I posted this in the 4.6 section.. not that it matters.

I didn't mean to insult you if I did. I live in South Carolina and we aren't tested because we don't have testing here and neither do we have a pollution problem either. Most people I know don't even have cats.

Sorry... Im a little annoyed with this whole process. Why the hell should we have to test a 3 year old car anyway... They should do it by milage or something.
