Comp SPR stage 2 blower grind. Brenspeed has those and is a sick cam for FI. Case in point:

The other nice thing about aftermarket cams is they'll increase your powerband so the car does not fall flat up top like w/ stock cams. That's one of the things I look forward to w/ my Hot Rods.

We and Comp Cams designed our own custom grind cam ground for a twin screw setup. We see 30 rwhp gains with this cam all while retaining stock drivability. It is a great cam and we run it on all of our Supercharged cars. These are a NSR cam and do not require phaser limiters.

if someone were to go supercharged later on, either twin or centrifugal- would they still have gains in the meantime with the blower cam until supercharged?

is it true that you guys have IM passable tunes with those cams?

I am still running my stock 3.55s......I think it is a little rough from 1000-1300 rpm but I can live with it. Not a big deal honestly. If you run lower gears it will keep you in a higher rpm while cruising but I opted to keep my mileage for now, I may opt for 4.10s later but it will definately not be running them for cruising issues.

I have the Mother Thumprs and couldn't be happier. I get compliments all the time, even from police officers who pull up beside me. Check the link below.

You can run them without a Twin Screw but these cams are designed around that low end torque that a twin screw creates so there is a little bit of low end torque loss.

Can Brenspeed send a tune if I have the FRPP Hot Rod Cams installed? I've always used the tunes from Brenspeed. If not, I guess I can just pay for a dyno tune at the shop that will be doing the install. Was just curious if when I make future purchases from Brenspeed if they would be able to send me tunes that would work with the Hot Rod cams. I see they sell the Thumpers but I do not see the Hot Rods on their site.

Thats not a problem, Brent can write you a tune that works great with your mods. We purchased and installed Hot Rod cams a while back so we could offer customers Brenspeed Hot Rod cam tunes. Give us a call and we can get the ball rolling.
