I have a 2008 mustang gt convertible (AUTOMATIC) and i want to get axle-backs exhausts either the FRPP Stingers or FRPP GTA's. I have recently bought the Slp loudmouths but they were way to loud for my liking i was wondering if the FRPP stingers would be to loud like the slps. I do not know which one to get. What would u guyz get? i want pretty loud but not obnoxious loud like the slps. I was wondering if i should go for the FRPP Gta's because i would like a little louder then stock but when i floor it i would like to hear a roar

The Stingers (GT's) are sweet if you don't mind a bit of drone in the 1500-1800 RPM range. Some here don't care for it. It doesn't bother me or my g/f. IMO, the GTA's are too quiet as they're not much louder than stock. The Stingers have a nice rumble and will really yell at WOT.
I have the GTA's. I agree with the other posters here - the GTAs are a bit subdued. The Stingers would probably be a better choice if you are looking for a more aggressive sound.
I have GTA's and love them. Anyone who says they think they are quiet, should have someone else drive their car while they stand outside and listen to what the rest of the world hears.. VERY different experience.

with a convertible I don't think you will want to have that much louder mufflers, the first s197 I drove was a v6 vert rental car, that car had a bit of rumble stock, I would imagine one of the quieter aftermarket mufflers would likely work best, as in a coupe the sound is dampened more.
dont let those GTAs fool you. most people think they arent that loud because of the lack of the drone inside the cabin. like the above poster said, stand outside the car and see how loud they are. not LOUD, but has some decent volume to it.

couldn't have said it better...have the GTAs, and always will
