Default Power shift help

I have been missing third gear upshift when power shifting pretty often. I have the Ford Racing Hurst short shifter. Seems to be an issue only when winding out second...can't get to third sometimes. Any hints on how to fix this. Sucks hitting the rev limiter when I miss the shift.

I have the same shifter and I've missed 3rd about 4 times in the past year, but it's always when I'm being casual, not when I'm "going for it". Maybe double check the install, make sure everything is torqued? did you use loctite?

get the CHE K-member brace with tq limiters and or prothane motor mounts. the remote shifter design sucks for high load shifting

You can never have too much power, just not enough traction.
