Default 3:90 gears with thoughts....

WOW! lol well i went ahead with risk install motive 390s last week and all week have been driving it so i could break it in 500 miles and last night , finally took it WOT several times !! 3:90s really get this thing moving , even at 70 mph and wot ,it still moves really good! but i have no whine /gear breakage or anything like that so far and i must say if you go 3:90 its more than worth it - im defantely gonna need some DR's next time i go to the track the first to second gear shift is too insane but for anybody pondering their future install, so far so good! if anything bad does happen , i will keep you posted.

Congrats! I've had my Motive 3.90's on for almost 3 years now, and have no gear whine or issues of any sort.

Enjoy!

Awesome dude............gear changes are so nice cause you feel like you gained so much power..........car prolly feels 1000 lbs lighter!!! If I remember correctly you went with 3.90's cuz of the DR's you have?

I am going with 4.10's next month myself.

nope strictly went with 3:90s due the fact i couldnt fricken decide between 3:73s through 4:10s and at the same time , i was really wanting gears lol! although, next summer when i hit the track i think i will defanately need the dr's now ! this thing is a monster im sure the people with 4:10's have a hell of a traction problem lol
