The snow cleared this week so we had a chance to make you another sound file. Pypes has released two new types of mufflers for the new GT. One style is the pypes Street Pro and the other is the new pypes Violator. The Street Pro is supposed to the be the least loud of the two although the Violator that we tested was not as loud as I was expecting. It is a loud muffler but it was nothing compared to the SLP with no Cats which is pretty much straight pipes. The Violator mufflers have packing in them so even though they have a straight through design they are not as loud as they look. Pypes mufflers are aluminized steel with a polished stainless steel tip. Because they are not 100% stainless steel they only sell for around $250 shipped on brenspeed.com which is pretty good bang for the buck.
