Got my Stang Conv on Friday May 19th. One week later, I'm so amazed at how awesome this thing is! We got the 2006 Mustang GT Premium with all of the upgraded except the Shaker 1000. Couldn't be happier...

Well OK! Here is mine, I bought it 2 weeks ago and have only driven it sparingly. I rented one to drive to Reno from Spokane, had so much fun that I had to buy one. My wife said I could have one if I learned to drive responsibly (so ok I had the rental up to 100 a few times) I promised and picked out my gorgeous black GT with the graphite leather seats.

We took delivery of our Legend Lime GT convertible last wednesday,90 miles from our house, complete with auto trans, Black interior/top, shaker 1000, side airbags, interior upgrade, 18-inch wheels (not the bullett style), and Ford alarm and wheel locks!
The sticker was 35,100 plus wheels, and we got it for about that with tax, licence, doc...
It was one of four Lime convertibles in California, and the only one we knew of with the auto trans and black interior!
We were going to order it, but we were told that Ford is discontinuing this color!!
The car is perfect, wheel and headlight alignment is perfect, body gaps are flawless, Ford has come a long way!!
We did consider a silver convertible at a closer dealership, but the car was slow, the alignment was off, and it shimmeyed!! The worst part was the AS$#OLES trying to sell us the car, every underhanded trick in the book! We walked away, never to visit a dealership again that is part of the POWER company!!
My wife and I have worked for BMW for 17 years now, so we are not easily impressed, but we are ECSTATIC about this car!! Lots of compliments!! Way to go FORD!!
The sound!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!

On April 28th I picked up the "suprise car" for my wife. About a year ago, she nearly creamed herself when she first saw the 2005 Mustang GT.
She was a racer "back in the day", but the guys didn't take her seriously since she just had a automatic in her Nova, even though they all now admit she could outdrive most of them!

December will be our 20th anniversary, but April was when we moved in together. Soooo, I bought her a muscle car, just what she figured she'd never own again. The Stang is an '06 GT Premium, Torch Red (her favorite color is red), Sport Interior package, Shaker 500 sound, this generation's fabulous 5 speed automatic tranny, and 300HP of "girl-quivering" power!

I told her the truck broke down on me right behind the garage and that she needed to put her shoe on to help me move it so our renter could get to his house. Upon rounding the corner of the garage, she saw no truck, just a 300HP Mustang in her favorite color!!

I swear, it was worth every bit of 28K to see her totally speachless for 28 SECONDS!!!!

No mods yet, but I'm working on it. Just enjoying breaking in this wild Mustang for now!!
