Thanks, I thought the photo would show up without having to follow the link. I checked the box to embed the picture but I missed the upload part. I'm going to test in in this post.

Hi........ just took delivery on an 06 GT last night in Las Vegas, then drove her home 250mi. to central Nv. Had a blast, late nite run, well over 100mph most of the way, car rode and drove wonderful, bonus, got 20.9mpg's, According to the trip comp. any where close is great. love the classic feel and sounds, last 'stang was a 71 Grande. Was very torn on having to trade in my 03 nissan 350Z, but after a block, No Regrets. My new ride is an 06 GT Premium, Tungsten Grey w/ light silver stripes, 5spd man. tinted(aftermrkt) glass, side window louvers. Probably paid too much, but just had to have it ,,,,,,, Stickered at 27695.00, w/ options 29068.00, trade in 19000.00-, so not into it too deep. Are most dealers really that tight on dealing on GT's as they say they are. Anyways very pleased w/ new toy, hope to enjoy many s-miles.......

Hi all,
Just registered but have been lurking for awhile. Anyway, in October I picked up my silver and black '06 convertible GT. Never owned a Mustang before but have always loved the old classics. In fact that was exactly why I had to get one of these new ones, the retro styling just caught me hook, line and sinker. Well that and that sweet 300hp V8. I love this car. Mine is auto (I know, I know), it was the hardest decision to make for me and I went over and over it, in the end the auto won out. I live in Chicago and the constant traffic had to be taken into consideration. Mine has the premium interior upgrade in all black. I have installed only a K & N air charger and a plenum cover just for cosmetics. I also bought a place this year that has a heated garage so the decision to get the convertible was a cinch. I always wanted one and never had one before so it's pretty sweet.
I was driving a BMW X5 but, as I said, had become completely obsessed with new Mustangs and decided I was going to get one at the end of my lease. Luckily I had checked everything out far enough in advance and ordered mine back in August. In October I got my order! 3500 miles later and I love it all the more!
Oh, just as an interesting little sidenote, within a month of me buying the convertible stang, my brother (I think subconsciously feeling like he has to one up me or something) went out and bought a '69 convertible corvette with the 427. It's a true beast. I just laugh to myself how funny brotherly competition can be! And, by the way, my Dad is in his glory with both of our cars to fawn over and play with!
Nothing compares to muscle cars.
