Block heater...location?

Block heater...location?
I am trying to determine if the car I bought was ordered with a block heater or not, and if it was, where would I be able to locate the cable/recepticle for it? Should it be near the battery, or near the front by the fan shroud cover, or down behind the grille or lower bumper...?
If the car DOES have it, I wanna start leaving it plugged in when the car isn't being used, and is parked in the cold...
Thx!

RE: Block heater...location?
Yeah, the owners manual says the car will have it "if equipped" or ordered with one I guess....only thing is, it doesn't mention where it would be located if you do have one...

it doesnt come stock.. any ford dealer or shop will install one for no more then 150 canadina.. and it will either b a little plug in bolted onto the bottom part of the front bumper or will be a electical cord coming from your engine block and possibly around your batery

Yes they do come stock with them. I have them both, on wifes 06 V-6 Pony and my 06 GT. It is listed right on the window sticker. ENGINE BLOCK HEATER NO CHARGE. They are located on the lower left side behind the bumper.

Went and looked under the front bumper... and there it was/is...
It's hanging down facing the left side of the car in the middle, up behind the front bumper below the rad...awesome, I'm glad the car has one, so now I can go and plug it in sometimes so that the car is sure to start in the winter when I need it to.

All Mustangs that come to Canada have them. It is in kind of a stupid location. It's on the passenger side behind the bumper in front of the rad. Nothing like laying or kneeling in the snow to plug your car in. I just found mine going to come in handy with a windchill of -41
