Detroit Truetrac anyone running one?

I took my 06 to the dealership the other to complain about the noisy rear end. The mechanic is going to replace the clutch pack and the gears with FRPP 4.10's. He said he would get Ford to cover the whole thing. I just have to remove some "items" before bringing it in.
Guess I can't complain for getting free gears.
How was mileage and drivability changed with 4.10 gears?

I have a truetrac awaiting install. Only issue is I ordered a new set of 4.10s thinking they were authentic FRPP gears but got hornswoggled with a Motive knockoff anyway. Now I'm trying to decide if I should take a chance with this motive set or send them back and order a set from then same person I got them from last time. Decisions Decisions[]

The Eaton LS is also a very sturdy unit and I would also consider it along with the Trutrac. Compare and make the choice. I run the Eaton in my 4x4 And it has no problem burning rubber with 35" Tall Mud Terrains and leaving two marks all the time.
Here is a link to them since Eaton owns them both.
