i did the Steeda Ultra Lite Lowering Springs & Pro Action Struts. Topped it off with the Steeda Heavy duty Strut Mounts.
My wife ( Not very car savvy) noticed the handeling change the first time she drove it!! she could not belive the differance it made.

Does the suspension work make you feel every little crack and bump in the road? What kind of costs are involved?

Ok, I think I'm busted!

A little background. Some friends of our purchased a new Four Winns boat. When we were out on the boat for the first time, they asked if I wanted to drive. I said, "Sure". While driving the boat, our friend told me to hit the switch on the dash, which I did. The switch diverts the exhaust from exiting out the lower unit under water to straight though the transom, which sounds great (like straight pipes.) We renamed the switch the "Man Switch".

Well, the wife took the mustang to the store this weekend. Later that night she said, "You put a 'Man Switch' on the Mustang didn't you?" I just grinned.

At least she didn't notice the gears

My Pro-kit went on a week after I got the car (Apr 2005). This was the first mod I did. The ride will firm up a little, the handling will improve a lot.
The ride quality also has a lot to do with what size wheels and tires you are running. Looks like you still have stock wheels so you won't sacrafice much on the ride quality.
Springs run around $300 (cheaper if you shop around) and the install was $200. Fairly cheap mod.

It will be around 3000rpm at 80mph. It will hurt your mpg a bit but not bad.

It does kill mileage. Around town I now average around 16-17, with hwy trips I average about 20-21. That's opposed to 19-21 around town and 22-24 Hwy trips. So you lose about 20%

Great mod - it really wakes up the car.
