Default RE: 2008 GT/CS will not burn rubber from a dead.

I've had problems spinning my tires in both my GTs from a dig. Maybe you guys that are getting your tires to spin so easily have too much air in them.. Most of the time even with a tune I can't even spin my tires without power braking.

I spun the tires in my baby when i took her for a test drive with the sales person in the car with me. Now, they won't spin as much in an auto as a manual does only because you can dump the clutch at a really high RPM. If your stang wont give you 2 nice black marks you have a problem.

I can't believe you're having trouble spinning your tires in an auto. Even when my car was stock it would spin the tires from a dead stop when I turned off the traction control. Now after I had 4.10's installed I have to try NOT to spin tires when I take off. Especially if I'm at a stop sign and turning left or right it wants to get sideways with me if I don't take it real easy. 4.10's really wakes an auto up. I can roast the tires now if I want and chirp then from 1st to 2nd, 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th.

I read 2 or 3 people talk about when the car hits 3000rpm it pulls hard!!!!

thats why i have a 2800 rpm stall and drop .4 to .5 tenths off my ET
but before this my car spin the tires when ever i wanted

I have the Auto as well and i cant get the tires to burn rubber I just thought maybe i'm getting good traction out of the stock perrellis.
I get a good chirp after hard acceleration after the first autoshift thats it.

08 GT/CS manual here 3.31 gears. my car wont spin if i stomp on the accelerator in first but if i bring the revs up and dump the clutch it will.
The car is geard to low now with some 3.55 or 3.73 it would not be an issue.

I'm pretty sure that all CSs come standard with a Limited slip and 3.55 gears in the rear. Thats probably whats keeping the tires hooked up. Though if they are hooking up I would think it should pull right off the line.

When I first got my car it was a little different getting used to the LS in the rear, but after a few mods I've learned to love it, though I've got a manaul and have never had a problem with spinning the tires, even with my 10s in the rear.

I would say to try a Torque from Bama. I've heard lots of good things about his auto tunes.
