i have a stock gt with only slp power-flows as of now.im wondring if a bbk or macshorty header will work without a tune on a stock car.im holding off for a tuner for a couple months because i will be buying a supercharger package with a tuner at that time.im going for the cermic coated headers to help liven up the engine compartment more than a power increase cause i know the s/c will take care of that.
any help will be great.

On another note, i would go Mac unless you could really steal (good deal) a set of bbk headers. They both are great headers but I think the Mac's are a little better quality. Definitely go ceramic too...

I currently have the BBK shorty polished ceramics on order. My understanding is the ceramic is the better choice because it helps keep the heat focused in the tubes and not under the hood. At least that was a compelling arguement that sold me.

Gonna play devils advocate... check out the Edlebrock Shorties. I have the BBK's and love them. Nicely made and good quality..but the Edlebrocks are just as nice, and have nicer welds.

I bought BBK shortys as well as a Magnaflow Tru-X X-pipe and a Magnaflow Cat-back...Is it a good set-up or not?
