thud / knock in clutch

thud / knock in clutch
ive been having this issue for a while now . . . every time i start the car when its cold (first start of the day) i get like a few quick thuds, or knocks ?? in the clutch i can feel on my foot as I am releasing it. kind of hard to explain. anybody have any type of similar issue ?

and to add another note on this. This weekend I was running the car kinda hard for about an hour or so... after the fact when i was letting out the clutch when just starting normal off the line it felt like it was slipping. Or what i consider slipping... I dont really know how to describe it
