Question Help:how to replace valve seals???

I'm not a big expert on working on engines but have some mechanical abilities;anyway,I can't find any info from the basic repair manuels on replacing valve seals.My GT which has 231,000 miles,smokes when first started.Everthing else seems to be ok for such high miles.Any help would be appreciated.
