Default did some datalogging...

I was looking at the intake air temp via my predator

I had the Car all warmed up
the IAT was 80 degrees

driving 45 mph for 1.5-2.0 miles it got down to 76 degrees
got on the interstate headed home @ 75 mph for another 1.5-2.0 miles
it went down to 69 degrees and it was 66 degrees out when this all took place.
I have the CDC shaker hood with the cold air pipe pointing at my C&L intake.

just thought I would share

Thanks for posting the data.
I also did some IAT data logging a little while back on my 05 GT with a C&L Street CAI and the ambient at 82 F, and I have some questions regarding your initial IAT reading of 80 F, which is very cool and peaks my interest. (I'm assuming this reading was taken with the car at a standstill, and the engine idling).
- How long was it at a standstill with the engine fully warmed up before the reading was taken?
- Was the engine warmed up from a cold start while idling at a standstill, or while driving with a load on it?
- If it was warmed up while idling at a standstill, then did you also take any readings with the car at a standstill after driving for those few miles, e.g., immediately after stopping, 30 sec. after, 1 min. after, etc.? If not, then would you mind doing that at your convenience?
Thanks.

I had been driving the car about a hour
I stopped long enough to plug in the tuner.
noy sure but I have the shakers cold air dump a few inches from the cai filter...

so car was drove,
tuner plugged in , took reading.
drove 45mph with cruise set, took reading,
got on hwy set cruise, took reading

came home made post.
the only reason I was messing with it I wondered if the shaker set up had much of a effect of the iat.
next time I have it out Ill do some more

it is crazy the stuff it will read
I have a automatic, there is a ton of trans data alone
