Default quick question about transmission fluid change

so i searched "transmission" "fluid" "weight"

and came up with nothin

I also was reading the "A How to: changing the manual transmission fluid "

https://mustangforums.com/forum/4-6l...ion-fluid.html

Was just wondering what weight, and how many qts?

Redline MTL is magic, I've used that on all my cars and it makes a noticeable difference. getting ready to change my tranny fluid too.

How critical is it to stay below the 1/2" mark of the fill plug? Can't you just fill it up till it over flows?

So I guess just stick with 3 quarts instead of 3.2...?

Here is a link to an online application guide where you can look up all that information for any vehicle -> http://www.amsoil.com/mygarage/vehic...FORD+MUSTANG+H

The Ford engineer recommended fluid is Mercon or Mercon V rated automatic transmission fluid. If the car has the T50D transmission, the capacity is 5.5. pints. If it has the TR3650 transmission, the capacity is 7.7 pints.
