limited slip problem, i think...
does anyone know if the factory LSD units are supposed to let one wheel slip a little bit arround turns under heavy wheel spin? i was doing a "show off" style burnout yesterday arround a turn and up hill (if that matters) and the damn thing didnt get sideways at all.
i was going arround a slight right turn slowly from a stop, pushed the clutch in, revved it up and dropped the clutch. it mad lots of smoke, but i went back to look at the tire marks and the right tire mad a fat, long mark, but the left tire only made a shorter less pronounced mark.
arent these limited slip units supposed to lock up when you do a burnout arround turns and strait? i did recently have 4:10's installed about a month ago and they said they had used the Ford LSD friction modifier, so i dont even know what to think about this issue.
