near all blowers are capable of the some boost levels, way beyond what the stock block can take, the boost depends on the pulley size used and amount of restriction in the air flow thru the motor
exactly boost is a measure of restriction not HP- restriction is bad -hence when you port and polish and get LT's- boost can and will decrease and you make more HP at said "boost" level.

and the Mammoth is a 2.8L....kind of comparing apples to oranges?
Whipple makes a 2.9L now and has a 3.4L and I bet it makes more "boost" or "psi" then the KB......but I understand zkiller- you love the KB as you have one.

For a 3-valve? Only seen 3.4 on custom fabricated manifolds so far. Never seen a 2.9 yet. Thats a 3-valve kit?
Yes, I like Jim Bells stuff, having dealt with him since 1978.
Also the Mammoth is being used on the fastes 3-valves that are using a S/C rather than turbo. Ken3030's car posted better times with his 2.8L Mammoth than his 3.4 Whipple so Jim Bell is doing something right, eh?
Did he say he made 1300 on the motor? So he only picked up 300hp running those S/Cs? lol Then there was almost NO point lol That thing has a really weird idle too... it seems to pulse like cams... but the exhaust note doesn't sound like a cam. Is it 1 S/C feeding the next? I would think it would be more effecient to have 1 S/C feed 1 half of the engine, and the other feed the other half lol Like have them side by side, each with an IM and 4 runners. Or both feeding 1 manifold that can support both S/Cs being mounted at the same time... but that might cause problems of the S/Cs sort of fighting each other? Eitherway... crazy car..
OP... you might as well give up... your thread has been hijacked like whoa lol
If you've got the cash, go with the Techco 3.0L Twin screw... it makes pretty good power with not so much PSI.
No idea whose mustang this is... but check it out...
To answer the original question... Of the blowers Ive actually seen bolted to a Mod Motor I think maybe the F1R would be capable of the most boost for a given engine. Seems kind of immaterial as I dont think anyone is going to be running one on a street 4.6 anytime soon.
