I'd say just get it cause I get sooooo many compliments on the sound of my car and the down shift is just heaven to my ears. I've had it for almost 2 yrs now and I still smile when I drive with my windows open. You won't regret it one bit!!!
I called up my local Ford Dealer and asked about this exhaust. He told me that the exhaust needs mufflers to pass inspection, but the Roush has none just Resonators. He didn't really seem to know that much because they don't deal with aftermarket exhaust so i gotta find out for sure lol

No problem! I'd say your best bet is to call Roush directly and ask them. That's what I've done with all my parts. I have all Roush parts on my GT. they're really good with answering any question. And they're customer service is top notch.

Also the resonators on the exhaust act as the mufflers. At least that is what I was told.

I have had the Roush exhaust on my car for about a year now. I love the sound. Have been putting off getting the windows tinted for some time now because of not being able to put the windows down for a bit. I just ordered BBK long tube headers and an off-road x pipe. I am seriously wondering if it is going to be annoyingly loud with the Roush exhaust?

Unfortunately I'm gonna say yes. I had the Roush on my Shelby, and by far it was the best sounding exhaust PERIOD. But once I put the American Racing Headers on it, it was WAY too loud. It still sounded great, but you could hear me coming from miles away, literally!

You were right! Extremely toooooo loud. I had to put my stock mufflers back on. Now it's too quiet. Looking for a new set of axle backs now to show off the new long tubes.

Try the MAC MMS mufflers........custom made from a guy named Alex on TeamShelby.com and SVTPerformance.com.............you won't be disappointed.

Thanks for that information on the MMS! That's def sparked my interest. I was leaning towards the Bassani axle-back for the 10GT. Seems like it would sound pretty nice on a BBK long tube and off road x setup.

And your point is... This thread was the deciding factor for me when researching exhaust for my 2010. The thread is definitely not obsolete.
