Real world (93 octane numbers)
2.6L 8 psi 456whp/433wtq
2.6L 10 psi 468whp/450wtq
2.6L 12psi 510whp/480tq (bent rod in a week)
2.6L stage 2 with Kenne Bell 130mm throttle body
14psi 525whp/500tq dynoed on a very hot day
what type of dyno did you get those numbers from? do you have the electric water pump like they say you need to hit those numbers?
on my buddy's 04 GT he had the Kenne bell and they were dead on with their power quotes within a couple of HP. every time we modded it and changed the setup they would tell us the power and it was always very close. on 8psi he was running 425whp on the older 2V motor.

I seem to recall reading if you go with a forged rotating assembly (about $2k) then the stock block can handle up to 800hp (600 pretty safely)
I would go twin turbo but for no other reason then its just cool!
~450 rwhp is the "magical" number people have found. It's not an exact science but in and around that level of power rods start letting go at a much higher rate. The window for error in the A/F becomes much smaller as you approach and exceed that power, RPMs become a "how far will it go until it.....goes" etc. As long as you have someone who knows what they're doing and shoot for 11.0 as your A/F as any good tuner would you'll be OK.
If you're seriously concerned about blowing your motor I can show you a way to have boost on tap like a bottle. Give a turbo a boost controller and watch as you cruise around on 6 psi daily, only making ~380 rwhp but can turn it up to 10 psi with the press of a button. Having the power of a stock C6 on hand (somehow I pulled away from one on 6 psi a couple times) is enough for me. I don't need enough power to get my rear end loose to just drive on the highway. It's my most conservative tune and it serves me well. Don't knock the turbo for a car that you'd like to DD. I can drive without boost wherever I go, it drives like stock, just a little loud. At the same time I can drive it to and from the strip and I'm still running enough power to have an 11 second car (if I did quite a bit of extra work on the cars suspension, weight, tires, etc.)
what did the turbo do to your economy? Ive heard it doesnt hurt it near as bad as a supercharger since it doest have the parasitic loss. Id love to turbo my car (long long down the road) but a significant mpg decrease would kill me right now

I found a site that sells the 298ci stroker rotating assembly for $2,100. I think it's $2,000 if you stay with the stock displacement.
I go back and forth on the whole turbo thing too. the powerband you get with the twin screw kits is awesome, power everywhere. but turbos just sound so damn cool
I have a Procharger that was putting 493 Rwhp to the ground and about 440 Rwtrq it ran 11.46 @122.6 if you go much above 500 Rwhp you are asking for trouble on stocked internals. That's why I am having my engine built up so I can put about 22 pounds of boost on it. But like was mentioned it is not cheap so far with the stand alone fuel system from lethal performance built bottom end ported heads and cams I am up to $11,000 just on the engine build not counting the original price of the supercharger system.

Twin Turbo; Looks like Hellion has got one, but how many bucks are we talking here, and how much power do you get? Any other options than the Hellion?
Installation and engine mods: Does anyone know a reputable shop in Minneapolis, or would you recommend me going with a ford dealer that has done similar stuff before?
I average about the same mpg as I did when I was stock because I do a decent amount of highway driving. My city mileage is crap, under 18, but I make up for it when I get ~28-30 mpg highway. I can drive from Dallas to Austin on a 1/2 tank of gas.
