I can't find the posts right now, but I've read of cases where the valves break off and fall into the cylinder head; causing damage. Which is the other reason for doing this mod. Adds some safety and peace of mind to the people running centrifugal S/C or any other forced induction that doesn't replace the stock manifold. Twin screws replace the stock manifold and come with their valve deletes built in, for that same reason.

I though this was common knowledge.

Never heard of that before. I will contact Brenspeed today and see what they say. My car is still in their shop so if that's the case I will have them install the delete plates.
