Default Should my clutch be toasted already

So I went to the track yesterday with my drag radials. I have had them on the past 5 times I've went with say 20 passes. Yesterday I went to break torque and got nothing but clutch slippin and a little smoke. The car only has 9,000 miles on it and the only mods are CAI/Tuner and exhaust. I waited about a hour and half and went back didn't do a burnout came up to the line and launced it kinda bogged and then took off again. IDK if that was slipping or not. Drove it home and it still had a faint clutch smell when I got it into the garage. Is there anyway I can check for it? I wouldn't think on a stock app. like that it would be toast. I've seen guys run superchargers on them for a couple thousand miles.

Take the car to 35-40mph. Put it in 5th. Stomp on it.

Does the engine rev slowly? If it does then you're probably OK. If it revs up quick then it's slipping.

OOk I'll try that. Would it matter if it was warm out not? Like going on and driving it around for a minute gettin the tranny warm or if I do it as soon as I am driving?

I took it out it didn't rev up but it did smell like clutch. So does that still mean its still slipping?

Not sure about the smell. If it isn't slipping then it should be obvious since the revs will climb slowly in 5th at that low a speed. I've heard sometimes the smell can take a while to clear out if you really toasted it a short while before hand. You might take it out for a nice long drive and see if that just clears the smell up.

The track is a hour and a half away. Then it sat all night there was no smell in the car or in the garage. Took it out and did what you said started to smell. Came home got out and you could smell it again.

Another clutch test is to turn on the engine with the car parked, engage the parking brake, depress the clutch pedal, shift into 4th gear, with your right foot depress the brake and gas pedals, rev the engine to 1500 rpm, and release the clutch pedal. If the engine stalls, then the clutch should be ok. If the engine keeps running, then the clutch is probably toast.
