Default SCT Tuner Question

I have a Ford 500 that is throwing a check engine light. Any problems with using my SCT tuner to see what the error is and reset it. It's programed with a tune for the stang, but I figured it could check and clear codes on other Fords.

yea, you can use your SCT to read and clear codes from all fords

i did it on my grandmas taurus wagon

Yup, it only gets vin locked for tuning. You can read codes and datalog on any ford.
