wheel weight varies and it depends on which stock wheels you are talking about. Bullets are around 27 while gt500 are almost 35 i think....bottom line if you want to actually shed wieght you need to look at tirerack 17 inch selection and start clicking and looking at how much they weigh. There are some as low as 16 or so lbs but look like crap IMO.

Without knowing more details of what you are looking to do do with the car or what budget you have its hard to tell you what you to do....

Superlight wheels are 300+ each i would guess so you need some $$$ if you want those types. If its for drag then many wheels are really light and meant for that in the 15" size

+1 on what Matt said except my GT500 takeoffs (OE) are about 28 lbs, pretty much close to the other stockers. I believe the aftermarket GT500 wheels aren't a cast alloy and are a bit heavier.

If you're REALLY in need of saving every ounce, then the smallest rims that you can fit seem like your best bet. IMO, these cars look that much sexier with bigger sidewall.

Tire rack lists the 17" bullits at 21.6 lbs. i think the 18" chrome bullets weigh closer to 27

Enkei RPF1 Wheels. If you can find them in stock the 18x9.5 weigh 18.6 pounds each. And they don't look bad either. Certainly a lot nicer looking than bogarts but of course they weigh more. Seem like a good compromise.

Personally I'm a big fan of the Enkei Racing NT03-M wheels... they come in 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 and are only 19lbs.

If I can find them in black, this is probably what I'm going to get when it's time to upgrade wheels.

My stock 18" fanblades with factory tires were 49 lbs. I ditched them for a set of 17"s after learning how much they weighed.
