I used the pump approach as well, pumped about 2 qts in through the same oil pressure sensor port.

Man, you just had to go and throw that tired, regurgitated, tight clearances argument in there. Next you'll be saying there is a Santa Claus.

They recommend 5w30 because it offers more protection, plain and simple.

How is the aluminator a rebuilt motor? It's a new block, crank, pistons and rods, correct?
