But your right those wheels are a little different too much for my liking, I did not go with a CS for that reason I want to be able to start on a blank canvas, and do my own thing just like u did with your GT! Oh yea so you never answered me how was that 427R Test drive? I guess u did like enough that your going to supercharge now, any reason why not taking to the 5.0 instead?
I never got down to test drive the 427. I am going down to drive it Monday when the salesman who sold me my car gets back from vacation. He wants me to drive the 427 and then the Stage3 before ordering the S/C. for the money I am being "allowed" to send I think I am gonna do the M90.

Sounds nice buddy!! I cannot wait to see which one you choose both are putting down great numbers! The stage 3 charger i don't believe i would do unless I was going to do forged internals, and not run it on a stock bottom end! But keep us posted!

Huh.

I seem to be one of the few who like the '11 GT/CS wheels (19-inch Argent painted machined-aluminum); though I've only seen them in pictures, do they really look that funky in person?

Maybe I've got funky taste in wheels -- or would think differently if I saw them up close. That machined contrast could give me second thoughts if I had me a physical look-see.

I like the look of them also, in pix of course. The ones with the painted dish on the pace car look really nice.

EDIT: I may not know what I'm talking about...the ones I like come with the Brembo option.

Those would be -- according to the Ford '11 Mustang build site -- the "19-Inch Dark Stainless Premium Painted Aluminum Wheels".

They are nice, agreed.

I thought I would rekindle this thread. I took my car to the dyno today and put down 274rwhp and 290rwt. This was on a DynoJet dyno. Bone stock except for the PYPES mufflers. I wanted to get a baseline number before I started modding. I was hoping to do as well as wilkinda did but I came up a little short LOL. Looks like these motors are all pretty close in stock form. The timing was around 26 degrees throughout the pull and the a/f ratio was around 12. The tuner said there was a lot left in the fuel dept. and probably a couple more degrees of timing to gain with a tune. I'm going to get an offroad h pipe installed then go back for my tune.
