Default Help with Steeda UD Pulley Install!!!

I have a 2006 Mustang GT and am installing the Steeda underdrive pulleys. I removed the stock crankshaft pulley and am not sure if I have the correct Steeda pulley. The stock pulley had a recess for the large washer to sit in but the steeda pulley has no recess. I am confused as to why there is no recess and am wondering if Steeda sent me the wrong part. I am afraid that without the recess, the washer will not stay centered on the crankshaft pulley. Please help me ASAP because I need my car up and running by tomorrow! Thank you!

I have attached some pictures so you can see the difference between the stock pulley with the recess and the Steeda pulley without it. There is also a picture of the washer that was used to hold the stock pulley in place.

I just looked at the Steeda UDP's i used to have on my car before I went F/I. My Steeda crank pulley did not have a recess, in fact it was the opposite and had a raised ridge around the hole that the washer rode on. Yours must be a new version or something. The bolt will actually keep the washer centered anyway.

You did get a new bolt, right? They are alleged to not be reusable.

Thanks for the help! I went ahead and installed them and had no issues. The car runs great and there is a noticeable difference in throttle response.

Getting ready to install mine. New bolt is required? Where do you get them - at the Ford dealer?
