Partially unrelated but only related because I took a car back to a dealer for rattles.

I had the V6 auto 2006 and it would rattle incessantly on the freeway or on roads at low rpm. So I took it to the dealer and they took the whole dash apart, replaced the instrument cluster and A pillar and put some ugly caulk under some of the plastic trim by the door. Rattling never went away. I gave up on it, it didn't bother me a lot but it bothered my dad like crazy when taking him anywhere. Car was depressing me.

So I traded in for the GT model and it doesn't do that. Now I have manual and it is fun to drive but I actually miss automatic and with 4k miles on my car, I kinda wish I could trade for something more modest with an automatic again. It is a pain to find the right car for the money. Hopefully I can figure it out. I get to hear so many of these Mustang enthusiasts tell me what kind of Mustang I "should have bought" all the time on top of all of this. give me a damn break. why are people like this in this community?

Talking Fixed!

Well, let the dealer keep the car this time for the past week. They could hear the noise fine, but could not, for the life of them, find it. He finally pulled the exhaust off last thursday and found out that it wasn't the exhaust causing the buzz at all. They spent the last couple of days trying to find out what it was, and it ended up being the fuel line bracket. I didn't get too much more info from him; that dealer is ***** out busy all the time. I was just so pleased to have it fixed! No more buzzing Hopefully this will help any of you with the same problem.

Default good news

Great news! I will make sure to tell the dealer to check that first.

Cool, hope your's gets worked out. The service order said: 'adjusted the fuel line, and replaced the bracket'. It also said something about following the hotline instructions, so I am assuming they called something in, and leads me to believe it's not a comepletly unknown issue. Anyway, this got rid of the noise completely! Good luck!
