Hi to all, I'm new here. I'm not trying to reinvent the wheel here, I've seen a couple of searches about clicking noise coming from the A/C...my problem seems a bit different.

When I turn the ignition on (whether I actually turn the car on or just to accessory) the A/C makes a horrible loud clicking noise, maybe 12-28 times and stops. If I turn the A/C off and back on, it does it again. It's only when the A/C is turned on, or ignition provides power.

I have a few mods, CAI, tune, pulleys, shifter, exhaust, all of which had been installed and working fine for a few months before the clicking noise started.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. I take customers out all the time for work and it's rather embarrassing!

The AC clutch clacking is my first guess. Confirm the racket is coming from the AC clutch. If it is, determine if the clutch is being commanded to flap or if the flapping is because of something else like low current in the electro magnet. Thats where I would start anyway.
