The closest I can find is this:
TSB 10-3-7 REAR DRIVE AXLE VENT—OIL LEAK
Effectivity is 2005-2010 Mustang
If there is a leak from the vent, Ford replaces the vent fitting with a bulb that accommodates the over-flow.

Yeah, got that fitting, i just thought there was a question of level of oil in diff, some say its up to the fill hole and was noted by someone who did an oil change and mentioned there is a TSB for level.... wish i could find the post now... argh.. Thanks anyway

Yep, saw it with my own eyes and experienced it firsthand.
The diffs were not filled to just below the filler hole.
They were first spec'ed to be a distance below the filler hole.
You checked the fill level with a bent piece of wire according
to the Workshop Manual I have.
It has been since changed to 'just below the fill hole'.
I have so many TSBs on file the one you are looking for
escapes me right now...
My rear end makes funny noises now because of the
low level from the factory.
Changed it to Royal Purple with the proper fill level
and the sounds subsided a little.

Not aware of any TSB for the differential fill.
Shop manual says to fill the 8.8 with 1.50 liters (3.17 pints) of fluid or 1 to 1-1/4" below the bottom of the fill hole. I fill with the rear end about 4.5" off the ground so I just fill until the fluid starts over-flowing from the fill hole. I never had a problem with fluid leaking from the differential.

Not enough fluid and the axle bearings will suffer greatly.
Mine went south at about 30K into her life.
Wait too long and its new axles as the bearings
ride directly on the axle shaft surface.
The axle is the 'inner race'.
No bad can come from filling up to the fill hole.
