Does anyone know if the Detroit Rocker supercharger Grind cams will run okay when I am NA during winter?? (Because of taking the Vortech off during winter?)

HOly smokes.. just got done chatting with Brenspeed and even with 90 octane, I'll still be making 450whp. Pretty sure I won't be getting cams or anything else until later on after I see how the intercooler and more boost does... I can spend that money on a high stall torque converter and light weight drive shaft, Cut a full second or so off the 1/4...

I can still do cams/FRPP manifold, but I'll have to de-tune it and keep things at 450whp until I go forged. I know people are willing to make more on the stock block but after what happened last summer, not gonna push my luck lol

Cams would sound killer though..

^^ The problem with having a lot of power is that it (speed) goes by at the blink of an eye.. and before you know it, you're pegging the speedo and it "feels" like you have enough power to go 160-180mph, eventhough it still only reads 145. Thats when you know you have to back off.. or loose a motor

Tons of fun, but it's a double edged sword...

^very important. Don't risk it, just get a tune and be done with it.

you should research this very question and you will find that getting a tune for any performance mod is always the first thing that should be done.
