Its a business of repairing factory vehicles, if something happens to anything they are liable for it. They'll cover it if a tech breaks it or theres a TSB for it, but anything else they really don't give a crap lol Seriously, your trans axle is low- sure, they'll top it off for you.. same for power steering if its screetching, but say your belt is showing wear and needs replacement, they may not even say anything. They may "recommend" a new belt or they not even look at it (supercharger). Oh, and be certain your car will be road tested.. hard

Exactly. There are no Ford classes for performance upgrades so dealer techs don't get trained. They don't know what to look for, or to begins where to pinpoint for issues. It's not that easy especially when most customer think diagnosing a car is as easy as going to Autozone and getting codes pulled for free.
