The Valet mode has to be engaged, IIRC, with the engine running at idle so it pulls open the BPV and you can lock it open.
I don't believe that's true. I "activated" my valet mode when it was off, and you can very easily actuate that valve with your hand with the engine off if you wanted.
OK, I stand corrected! Good to know. My BPV has been 'mildly modified' to fit with aftermarket fuel rails, so I dont even think I can enable it.
I heard that once you have a supercharged/stroked/forged 5.0 block, the "valet mode" is replaced with electromagnetic sensors that shock the valet driver to death, and then kicks him out of the driver seat for attempting such foolishness in the first place.
You can also get a valet tune written for just about any application. I have a valet tune on my car and the only time I ever used it was when I let my cousin take the car to his senior prom. (I trust him, but hey, I was 17 once.)

Yup. Or lower your rev limiters to like 1500 rpms.
Personally, I like stealth_GT's idea...hm...electric shock strength varied by throttle position....that can be arranged!
