windshield wiper fluid, cools IAT?
I have read about import tuners using wind shield wiper fluid as a cheaper alternative than meth injection to mist their air to air intercoolers with.
I was thinking of getting a spray bottle, filling it with windshield wiper fluid and spraying the hell out of the intercooler as it's idling after each run.
This is to help cool the intake charge. Thought about rigging up a "mister" with a dedicated pump, mist rail and fluid canister but I want to see if it actually works first via spray bottle...
any body heard of this type of cooling mod?
I might eventually try meth injection, but I just need something last minute for this race season. The car runs hot after an hour drive@80mph the entire way, and only an hour or two to cool down.. then it's racing back to back..

it's only about $20 to rig something up and it's windshield washer fluids, which does not have as high a methanol content as pure meth, but from what I hear it works pretty well. I just have to make sure not "mist" it, via mister nozzle and not the friggin' windshield wiper nozzle that spray's it on there til it drips rofl
