Default tuning for the whipple

Looking to find out who the best tuners for the whipple are. Seeing dyno videos of engines blowing up while being tuned makes me want to avoid those that just don't have the experience. Also, I live in CA, so will definitely need an emissions tune.

Give Greg at RET a call his tunes are always spot on. That's assuming you're in SoCal.

I'm in the SF bay area, but I'll keep that in mind.

I've heard good things about TPS Motorsports. I'm pretty sure they are up that way.

You may want to post this in the California section of the forum.

I went to some "reputable tuners" in my area, custom dyno tune and all and they could not tune out a lean spot over 6200 rpm with my whipple. You know why!? Because they didn't understand the tuning for the 39lb injectors. Got an email tune from Lund and lean spot is gone (checked on a dyno which is recommended for any email tune especially FI), driveability is better, throttle response is better... and he never even looked at my car let alone put it on a dyno!!! All I am saying is watch out for dyno operators... good dyno operators who have not tuned for these injectors may still be good dyno operators, but not for you.

↑ Exactly why I'm asking. If you don't mind my asking, who did you go through for the Lund tune, and what did it run?
