2005 goes into fail safe mode

I have a 2005 mustand that randomly goes into fail safe mode. The temp gauge show running normal. Any suggestions on how to proceed in troubleshooting?

Is your check engine light on? I'd get the codes pulled from that first (Auto Zone or Advanced Auto will do it for free) because there are any numbers of things that would cause your engine to fall into limp mode.

There is a TSB out for that having something to do with the throtle body , my last car was an 05' and every 3 months or so it would do that . I got rid of it before I ever figured it out but just letting you know that there is a TSB out.
