Default Tranny wouldn't shift, clutch wouldnt disengage. Shut off car then fine???

Hi Guys,

Weird thing happened last night... For starters I have a Spec3 clutch setup and aluminum flywheel.

I got on my car for the first time shifting hard, not power shifting. I have about 480 rwhp. I was shifting at 6400 rpms approx.

I was WOT and shifting from 2nd to 3 rd gear. I went to shift and the clutch did not disengage and I hit the rev limiter. I let off the gas and got it into gear. I went to shift into 4th gear and I couldn't change gears.

I was pushing in the clutch pedal and I can feel that it was not disengaging the clutch all the way.

I pulled over, shut the car down. Started it up and I was able to put the car into gear right away. Now the car seems fine, but I am afraid to get on it.

What could have happened? If i blew my clutch or pressure plate, then I wouldn't be able to drive it fine now.

I was driving the car hard through the gears for the second time within a few minutes. Could the slave cylinder have locked up?

There is new DOT4 Blue Super Fluid in the car. The clutch was bleed from the master cylinder using the factory bleeding procedure.

I am at a loss cause I do not think I have a failure in the clutch components.

Thanks.
