Hello,
I have a weird sound coming from my motor that isn’t the typical valve ticks. It only comes every now and again. It’s not Rod knock or anything like that. It almost sounds like a deep plastic rubbing. Check it out please and let me know what y’all think:

oh and the car is a 2008 GT

It's hard to tell but the engine sounds healthy and I think the noise is external. Possibly a rattle inside a catalytic converter? You might need to raise the car on a lift to investigate further.
