I bought a Pypes Off Road mid pipe tonight and will put it on the car tomorrow. Will I need a new tune for this? I have a Bama tune with SCT and its only about 8 months old. My understanding is that all their tunes come with software to keep the dash light from coming on when you remove the cats. Is this accurate?

I'm not sure if they include it unless they know you have an o/r mid pipe. That way if something goes wrong with a cat on the factory mid pipe you know it when the light comes on. The SCT tuner should allow you to turn the o2 sensors off. If you don't know how to use it in that way give Bama or AmericanMuscle.com a call and they can help you with the details. Good luck sir.
