I curious as well. From what I hear the installation is pretty straight forward. In some reviews on AM.com there were people complaining about it flexing but Ford says it is normal and to be expected. Hopefully someone thats tried it can swoop in here because if its worth it I'm considering doing it when I get cams in the future.
Aren't delete plates only available for 05-08? Would the C&L still be a better alternative for the 09-10(OP and I are in this category) then the frpp intake for N/A applications even though we can't do delete plates or would it be better for both N/A and S/C regardless? Sorry I don't mean to hyjack the thread but.. well it seems I already have..

The c&l would be better for forced induction, again, especially if you get a larger mono blade throttle body. As for the plate delete, I havent looked at an 08+ engine. Do they just have blank plates in there or does the manifold sit lower or is it different in some way than an 05? My guess would be there it just has blank plates from the factory.
After a search, Ford molded the plates into the factory intake manifold for 09-10. So by changing the intake manifold we will essentially get "free" delete plates and if a C&L manifold is a better option with delete plates then the frpp intake is with the delete plates on an 05-08 I suppose the few extra bucks for the C&L is well worth it if the gains are a bit higher. Thanks JCON for the C&L info, I think I know what I'll be doing now.

Im also trying not to void warranty..my parents bought me the car and are very strict. So i have to be able to return to stock somewhat easy. The c&l could pose a problem there, although i do like the information you've said..

From what I've read on the forums the dealer can't deny warranty coverage unless the problem can be directly attributed to an aftermarket part, and I also read that if the dealer does the install and something goes wrong the dealer is required to honor the warranty don't know if it applies to just Ford or frpp equipment though. Not 100% sure about the dealer install part but I know they have to prove the aftermarket part caused the problem to void warranty.
