I'm about to install a whipple 550 HO kit and looking at either the Thump RRR or the UPR. For the Thump RRR they recommend the more expensive one for anything over 500 HP but, it's like $365. The UPR one is cheaper but, not sure what HP it's rated for...
I don't have any experience with the UPR tensioner, but I'm more than satisfied with the UPR suspension parts I run. Call them and ask them what it's rated for. If the thump is rated higher, go with the thump. You probably can't lose with either piece, but better safe than sorry.

Yep, I'm just up the hill from you. Let me know when you get your GT and I can help you out with some of the installs as it looks like I've done or will have done a lot of what you're looking at doing (MGW, Whipple, suspension, etc...).
