I have a Steeda heavy duty tensioner but never put it on.. didn't think I needed it with only 10 psi but I do feel a lot of slip at WOT. Putting it on this summer

I'm about to install a whipple 550 HO kit and looking at either the Thump RRR or the UPR. For the Thump RRR they recommend the more expensive one for anything over 500 HP but, it's like $365. The UPR one is cheaper but, not sure what HP it's rated for...

I don't have any experience with the UPR tensioner, but I'm more than satisfied with the UPR suspension parts I run. Call them and ask them what it's rated for. If the thump is rated higher, go with the thump. You probably can't lose with either piece, but better safe than sorry.

Running the steeda heavy duty on a saleen SC at 12psi. So far so good. The stock tensioner slipped at quick wot runs.

I'm running the Thump RRR tensioner with 12# of boost and haven't had a problem. It's very robust!
