Emissions inspection/Check Engine Light

Emissions inspection/Check Engine Light
I have to go for inspection soon and the Check Engine light will NOT go off. I've experienced this in the past and it would always eventually go away. Not this time. Nope. Looks like it's here to stay. I have Magnaflow Hi-Flow cats which have been on there since 4/10/2007. Now here come the stupid risky newbie questions:
1. Could the O2 sensors be the problem?
2. Could something be wrong with my hi-flo cats?
Please help. I want to get inspection over with. I appreciate your time and feedback.

Do a search. I've posted numerous responses to such emissions and inspection related issues. But first you need to know what codes are being thrown, as suggested. Always start with where the car is telling you to look.

Talked with Brenspeed/Got an answer
Brenspeed e-mailed me and told me to call them. I spoke to a helpful guy name Miles who walked me through plugging in the SCT and getting the code. I think the code was P3403 but nevertheless, he said it was the driver's side high flow cat. Being that it is a High Flow cat, the O2 sensor isn't getting a chance to heat up and get a reading. Something like that. I was told that I have to buy risers on their site, install them myself and I should be good to go. By the way, I was able to get rid of the check engine light but he said that it will probably pop up again. AND...disabling the O2 sensors will not let you pass emissions. So now I'm buying these risers and I'll keep everyone posted as to what happens.
