Default Auto to manual

I searched this but didnt find anything. I was just curious how much a conversion for my 08 gt would cost. It's an automatic and I want to convert it to a stick. About how much total would that cost? I.e parts, and then getting it installed.

If you're going to do it you might as well get a six speed and make the cost worth it:

Still need to get a TCU to handle the new gearing

Install cost... a lot.

I think someone did the TR6060 swap and it was like $8k for parts and labor.

A TR3650 fro ma standard 05-09 GT would be cheaper on parts but not terribly cheaper on labor (the TR6060 does require some soft modification since it is for the GT500)

The hardest part is getting the clutch pedal installed
and the master clutch cylinder plumbed up to the
brake fluid reservoir.

I would prefer a manual, but if I switch, I would sell my car and buy a manual. Much cheaper and less hassle.

That's what I did... but my manual also came with 2 more cylinders than my other Mustang and fewer miles
