Paxton 2200SL noise...

is this normal? quoted $765 to replace bearings

I would say no, not normal, but I'm no expert.

Think of how that would sound if that impeller is spinning at its operating RPM...

I didn't mean the impeller is bad, just imagine the noise if it was spinning at your engine's RPM. You could always call Paxton to see

it only makes a chirp now and again at idle speeds, otherwise it doesnt sound any different than it ever did (well except that i now have it out of the car it sounds like ****, as in the video). Drives fine, makes boost just the same, noise leaves after the car is warmed up. and i did call paxton, asked one of their techs to watch that vid and tell me what they thought, still waiting for them to get back to me. they said if its bearings its gonna be $765 to replace all 4...

How many miles are on that NOVI? Did you follow the paxton oil change intervals? (first 2.5k miles, 7.5k miles afterwards)

less than 10k on the unit, oil changed at 2500 and then again 5-6k miles after that (early to sync with engine oil change).
