That sounds interesting. I noticed the b302 wasn't on their site. You can order the Ford racing aluminator short block. That's what siggy was going to use, but it was backordered.

After reading Siggy's build thread, I kind of wish my motor would die. I really need an excuse to build it up and get the steeda belt system for the whipple.

friend of mine installed forged pistons and rods, and left the stock crank.
stock crank is good for around 600 rwhp.
with install was a little cheaper than an aluminator.

Me too. This horse just won't quit. I've got hundreds of passes at the track. 12psi. 500+ rwhp. Clutch dumps on slicks at 5000+ rpm. Powershifting at 6500 rpm... I can't believe it hasn't spit a rod out the side of the block yet! Hell, even the rear axle is stock from rotor to rotor right down to the fluid. I expect her to give out every time I go to the track, but the 4.6 3V is apparently capable of taking some abuse.

Any news on how much will cost to swap a short block and how many hours it takes?

Just got an email from brenspeed and they r gonna be testing and he thinks the price will be around 5k for the block
